The following is a compilation of games and activities to play during SMA’s Catholic Chronicles VBS: Following Aslan (Year 2). There are both indoor and outdoor games listed. Adjust the activities a to be age-appropriate. Play games outside if weather permits; play games inside in inclement weather. Apple “Minute to Win It”
When the siblings arrive back into Narnia, they don’t see anyone around and they don’t have anything to eat, so they search around and find some apples. They eat apples for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Play some apple-related games!

Following Aslan
Create and obstacle course. Choose one person to be “Aslan” and have them go through the course however they want, then the rest of the team must do it exactly like they do… follow the leader + obstacle course.

Find the Animals
Once Trumpkin and the others discover that Prince Caspian is the true leader of Narnia, they set off to introduce him to the other Narnia animals.

JOUSTING
The Kingdom of Narnia is set in a medieval times setting. Battles are waged with swords and catapults. Have the campers “joust” with pool noodles.

Four teams act like animals and try not to get captured. Instead of a “zookeeper”, have a King Miraz or Miraz’ soldiers.

Animal Parachute
Play these animal-themed parachute games and connect them to the Narnia animals. Look at “3. Dive!”, “4. Change!” and “15. Last One!”
CAPTURE THE FLAG
Everybody loves a good game of capture the flag. Divide the group into two or more teams and have the teams create their own flag. Have them hide the flag somewhere within a certain boundary and then set them off to search for the other team’s flag.
