NARNIA FREEZE TAG:
In “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” the White Witch (villain) turns people to stone with her wand. Choose one person to be the Witch and one person to be her wolf captain; these two people “freeze” players. Choose two other players to be Aslan and Lucy; these two people “unfreeze” others.

FREE THE ICE ANIMALS
Freeze plastic animals in cups of ice and have teams “free” the animals by melting the ice. Melt the ice through a variety of ways: carry spoons of warm water, use water guns or spray bottles filled with warm water. Use other ice-melting techniques. Split into teams and see who can “free” the most animals.

PIN THE CROWN ON THE LION:
Aslan is the true King of Narnia and he defeats the White Witch. Play a version of “pin the tail on the donkey” but change it to “pin the crown on Aslan”.
JOUSTING
The Kingdom of Narnia is set in a medieval times setting. Battles are waged with swords and catapults. Have the campers “joust” with pool noodles.

BUILD A CASTLE
In “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” the White Witch lives in a castle. It is eventually restored and lived in by Peter, Edmond, Lucy and Susan. Build a castle out of whatever supplies you collect: mini marshmallows and spaghetti sticks, toilet paper rolls, cardboard boxes, etc. The possibilities are endless!
SNOWBALL FIGHT
Before Aslan defeats the White Witch, it is always winter but never Christmas. Play “snow-related” games and/or have a snowball fight. Make snowballs out of fabric or newspaper. We can also purchase some.

TREASURE HUNT
Father Christmas gives gifts to Lucy, Susan and Peter. Represent these gifts in some way and hide them around the campus. Divide into teams and have each team find the gifts.
CAPTURE THE FLAG
Everybody loves a good game of capture the flag. Divide the group into two or more teams and have the teams create their own flag. Have them hide the flag somewhere within a certain boundary and then set them off to search for the other team’s flag.
